  Mimaki FineCut8 for Illustrator Ver8.4.1

This book is about installation and matters that demand special attention of Mimaki FineCut8 for Illustrator Ver8.4.1.

Please read this surely before using this version.

[Ver8.4 -> Ver8.4.1]

- Fixed bugs -

  1. When performing the plotter output, FineCut has been frozen. ( CJV300/150 series, Illustrator Windows(32/64bit) )
  2. When allowing sort function to cut media, machine start cutting from the outside of pass. ( CF, CF2, DC, CF3 series )


[Ver8.3 -> Ver8.4]

- Newly support plotters and languages-

  1. Supported to CJV300, CJV150 series.
  2. Supported Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese(Only for Illustrator CS6 and later）

- Improved functions -

  1. In CG-SRIII, IP address of plotter is enabled to specify when connecting by LAN.
  2. PIN and HLF are deleted from tool of CG-SRIII, and CT6 and CT7 are added for supporting so that the tool which is changed from CG-SRIII have been formally supported.


[Ver8.2.2 -> Ver8.3.0]

- Newly Support Illustrator -

  1. Accept Illustrator CC (32/64 bit).


[Ver8.2.1 -> Ver8.2.2]

- The following defects occurring at Illustrator CS6 have been improved -

  1. When performing [Plot] or [Plot Selected Path] with activating Illustrator CS6, Illustrator will abend on approx. once every 20 times.
  2. When arranging copy more than 20 times in every direction on [Copy] function in the plot dialogue, Illustrator is slow down and becomes inoperable finally.
  3. When deleting all media names and clicking the mouse on the output condition setting dialog, Illustrator will abend.

- Improved functions -

  1. Changed how to set LAN connection to how to select from the connected device list. (Only in CG-SRIII)

- Fixed bugs -

  1. When the midpoint of Bezier curve between 2 anchor points exist on a straight-line, an unintended line is cut. (For Illustrator CS6 ver.)


[Ver8.1.2 -> Ver8.2]

- Newly functions -

  1. FineCut8 for Illustrator ver8.2 is available for CG-SRIII.
    The following function which is installed on CG-SRIII will be able to use by ver8.2.


[Ver8.1.1 -> Ver8.1.2]

- The following defects occurring at Illustrator CS6 have been improved -

  1. It is impossible to output under the language environment except Japanese and English.
  2. The letter is partially not displayed.
  3. When reading the plot file with open pass by [Import Plot File] function, the unintended lined is displayed. (For CS6-32bit Windows)
  4. The defect occurs when setting and applying the output condition.
  5. Fixed existing bugs.


[Ver8.1 -> Ver8.1.1]

- Fixed bugs -

  1. The error is displayed and the illustrator is shut down unintentionally when trying to start up the illustrator with double-clicking in a state that illustrator is inactive.(For Illustrator CS6(32/64bit) Windows)


[Ver8.0.5 -> Ver8.1]

- Newly Support Illustrator and fixed bugs -

  1. Accept Illustrator CS6 (32/64 bit).
  2. In Windows8, impossible to install the FineCut8 through a standard user account.
  3. When the midpoint of Bezier curve between 2 anchor points exist on a straight-line, an unintended line is cut.

- Fixed bugs -

The following bug is fixed:

  1. The closed figure which consists of two anchor points is not cut.

- Fixed bugs -

The following bugs are fixed:

  1. "An unexpected error occurred" is displayed when sending data to CF, CF2, DC, CF3(R1/TF2 head) with selecting tools by color or layer.
  2. Cutting path is created at 0.1pt(0.035mm) outer side of the frame when the offset value on frame extraction set to 0.

(English / German / French / Italian / Spanish / Russian / Simplified Chinese(CS6,CC) / Traditional Chinese (CS6,CC) Version)


Plotter:

> Mimaki CG series, Mimaki CF-0912 series, Mimaki CF2 series, Mimaki CF3 series, Mimaki CJV30 series, TPC, Mimaki CJV300/150 series.


Connection:

 > Serial connection ( crossing cable), USB connection, LAN connection(Only in CG-SRIII)


Others:

> Compliant with the operation environment of Adobe Illustrator used.


 

-- How to  Installation -------------------------------

1. Select [Start] - [Control Panel] - [Programs] - [Programs and Features].

2. Click [Mimaki FineCut for Illustrator] and click [Uninstall] button.

3. Double-click the [Setup.exe] file created after decompression.

4. Follow the instruction on screen .
5. When confirmation screen for the old version product CD appears, insert the indicated version CD of the product .

6. After confirming the product CD, follow the instructions on screen.
