|         SWJ320S      Firmware Version Upgrading Method                  |

The SWJ320S series enables the firmware to upgrade via an interface cable 
from a computer.

In order to transmit the firmware from the computer to the printer, Mimaki
FW Version Upgrade function of FW UpdateTool III shall be used.
Refer to the separate instruction manual as follows for the FW UpdateTool III.

1. Upgrading the printer firmware version.
===========================================

  1) Connect the printer with computer by using an interface cable.
  2) Turn ON powers of the computer and printer.
  3) Press the REMOTE key while the version on the printer is
     appeared on the printer display.

  4) Transmit the version upgraded file to the printer from the computer
     by using FW Version Upgrade function of FW UpdateTool III.

   +------------------+   When the printer receives data, the display
   | *TRANSMIT START* |   indicates as the left. Wait for several minutes
   | S recieving...   |   until completion of the receiving.
   +------------------+

   +------------------+   When the printer receives all data, the display
   | TYPE:HOST->MAIN  |   indicates as the left.
   | ver :1.10->1.00  |   Press ENTER key.

   | ver :1.10 ->1.00 |   Do not cut out power of the printer while this
   | writing F/W      |   display appears because the program is being
   +------------------+   written into the memory.


     If a trouble occurs in the printer side, the error message appears.
     In such case, please contact to MIMAKI distributor.

  5) When the version upgrading completes, printer reboots automatically.
